Motor Cycle Union of Ireland (MCUI)
Formed in 1902, the Motor Cycle Union of Ireland or MCUI is the governing body for the island of Ireland and are affiliated to the FIM. The MCUI is made up of 3 partners who act under the rules of the MCUI but are otherwise independent.
The 3 bodies are the Ulster Centre (MCUI UC), the Southern Centre who trade as MotorCycling Ireland (MCI) and the Motorcycle Racing Association Ireland (MRA)
Jurisdiction

The Ulster Centre controls Road Racing, Short Circuits and Trials in Ulster.

MotorCycling Ireland controls all sporting activities in the provinces of Leinster, Munster and Connaught.

The MRA controls Motocross, Grass Tracks, Super Motos and Enduros in Ulster.

Objective
​
The objective of the MCUI is to make and administer rules to govern and control the sport and pastime of motorcycling; to promote motorcycling in its different forms: to protect and safe-guard members of the Union as far as possible in the exercise of all their legal rights as motorists; to protect the interests of Irish Motorcyclists by entering into relations with the governing bodies of motorcycling in other countries.
